This means that display manufacturers can launch G-SYNC gaming monitors without Nvidia's first-party G-SYNC processor module thereafter, which not only simplifies the display production process but also reduces the product cost.

And for game players, there will be more and more affordable G-SYNC monitors to achieve excellent image quality, motion clarity and performance.

TapTechNews note: Nvidia G-SYNC certified monitors include three grades, namely G-SYNC ULTIMATE, G-SYNC and G-SYNC Compatible. The former two required Nvidia chips before and were expensive and rare; therefore, most G-SYNC certified monitors are only G-SYNC Compatible.

Nvidia mentioned in the blog that there will be three G-SYNC monitors equipped with MediaTek Scaler components on the market later this year, namely ASUS ROG Swift 360Hz PG27AQNR, Acer Predator XB273UF5 and AOC AGON PRO AG276QSG2.

These three monitors are all 27-inch specifications, 2560×1440 resolution, 360Hz refresh rate and support HDR. The above three products will support G-SYNC Pulsar technology, which can simultaneously provide 4 times the effective dynamic clarity and smooth VRR gaming experience.
