Although the battery capacity has shrunk, the battery life of Apple's M4 iPad Pro has not shrunk. The new iPad Pro is equipped with a more efficient chip and a more power-saving OLED panel, and the battery life is still 10 hours. TapTechNews quoted the actual measurement of the tech media CultofMac that the 2024 iPad Pro can last for 12 hours when fully charged.

In the disassembly process, the iFixit team found that Apple adjusted the battery design of the M4 iPad Pro, and it is easier to take out the battery than the previous generation.

Shahram Mokhtari of iFixit said: Being able to take out the battery without disassembling every major component inside the device is still a huge victory in terms of repairability. This is a huge improvement compared to previous generations.
