JD.com to Launch Native HarmonyOS App on HUAWEI AppGallery

TapTechNews Jun 18th news, at today's JD.com 618 media open day event, JD.com announced that it has completed the core version development of the native application of HarmonyOS and is about to be launched on the HUAWEI AppGallery. This application is based on the next-generation terminal technology architecture of JD.com and realizes one-time encoding and multi-terminal compilation.

In January this year, JD.com and HUAWEI announced a cooperation and officially launched the development of the native application of HarmonyOS. The native version of the JD.com App will support the all-scenario seamless transition and native intelligence of HarmonyOS NEXT.

TapTechNews noticed that as early as June 2021 when HarmonyOS 2.0 was released, JD.com had already invested technical forces to explore the characteristics of HarmonyOS and launched a meta-service card that can quickly search for goods, realizing the expansion of the e-commerce shopping scene.

And this time, the JD.com native app of HarmonyOS started to develop. Based on the AI large model and intention framework of HarmonyOS, it can understand the explicit and potential intentions of users, so as to match the appropriate services, ensure the continuity of services and experience, and bring continuous, intelligent and real-time scenario traffic to JD.com.

At the same time, the ability of HarmonyOS to develop once and deploy on multiple terminals can also greatly reduce the cost and workload of the development of JD.com native app of HarmonyOS, and realize the upgrade on various HarmonyOS ecological terminal devices such as mobile phones, tablets, smart screens, and car machines.
