The Samsung Galaxy A15 phone has 4G (MediaTek Helio G99) and 5G versions (MediaTek Dimensity 6100+). TapTechNews quoted the media report that Samsung is internally testing the Galaxy A16 phone with the model number SM-A166B, with only one 5G version and the price is below 200 euros.

This shows that Samsung has begun to promote its low-end models to embrace the 5G network, and will further phase out the 4G phone product line in the future.

Samsung naturally cannot completely abandon the 4G phone at this stage. The source also said that Samsung is testing a derivative model of the Galaxy A06 phone, with the model number SM-A065M, but there is currently no more relevant information.
