TapTechNews June 7th news, storage giant Kingston brought a series of new products at Computex 2024 Taipei, including the FURY Renegade DDR5 RGB limited edition memory module with a brand new heatsink design.
Kingston's Computex 2024 booth has a red theme color, and this limited edition memory module also adopts a red and black heatsink design, decorated with diagonal patterns inspired by racing cars and air intake grilles.
The FURY Renegade DDR5 RGB limited edition memory module supports Intel XMP 3.0 memory overclocking, with a speed of up to 8000 MT/s, and is available in 24~48GB options, with 19 preset RGB lighting effects.
In terms of storage, Kingston exhibited the prototype product KentingBay (TapTechNews note: Kenting Bay) which is still under development.
This solid state drive adopts the mainstream M.2 2280 form factor, PCIe Gen 4 x 4 specification, with sequential read and write speeds up to 6000/5000 MB/s, covering 512GB to 4TB capacity.
Kingston also launched a red version of the XS1000 portable solid state drive.
Same as the regular version, this portable solid state drive uses the USB 3.2 Gen interface, and the sequential read and write speeds can reach 1050/1000 MB/s, with 1TB and 2TB capacities available.
