SK Hynix to Attend FMS 2024 in California and Showcase New Products

TapTechNews August 1st news, SK Hynix today (August 1st) posted a blog announcing that it will attend the FMS 2024, the global semiconductor memory summit held in Santa Clara, California, USA from August 6th to 8th, showcasing many new-generation products.

Introduction to the Future Memory and Storage Summit

The predecessor was the Flash Memory Summit mainly for NAND suppliers. Under the background of the increasing attention to artificial intelligence technology, it was renamed the Future Memory and Storage Summit this year to invite more participants such as DRAM and storage suppliers.

New products

SK Hynix announced the development of the industry's highest 321-layer NAND at the FMS event last year, and this year it will also showcase many new products in the AI field, including 12-layer HBM3E (expected to enter mass production in the third quarter) and 321-high NAND (to start shipping in the first half of next year). Speech

SKhynix's HBM process integration director Unoh Kwon and SSD PMO director Chunsung Kim will deliver a keynote speech titled Leadership and Vision of AI Memory and Storage Solutions in the Era of Artificial Intelligence at the opening ceremony of the event.

The two executives will respectively introduce the company's DRAM and NAND product portfolios, as well as the AI memory solutions optimized for the realization of artificial intelligence.
