TapTechNews August 6th news, the National Development and Reform Commission, the National Energy Administration and the National Data Bureau jointly issued the Action Plan for Accelerating the Construction of a New Power System (2024 - 2027) (hereinafter referred to as the Plan).
The Plan pointed out that from 2024 to 2027, 9 special actions such as the Electric Vehicle Charging Facility Network Expansion Action will be mainly carried out to promote the effective construction of the new power system.
Improve the layout of the charging infrastructure network
Focusing on the two areas (residential areas, office areas) and three centers (commercial centers, industrial centers, and leisure centers), public charging infrastructure is laid out according to local conditions, expand the coverage of the charging network on expressways and strengthen the charging service guarantee during holidays, effectively increase the charging facilities in rural areas, and gradually build an increasingly perfect charging infrastructure network.
Strengthen the integration and interaction between electric vehicles and the power grid
Strengthen the integration and interaction between electric vehicles and the power grid. Make full use of the energy storage resources of electric vehicles, fully promote intelligent and orderly charging. Support the exploration of the integration and interaction of vehicles, piles, stations and networks, study improve the time-of-use electricity price policy for electric vehicle charging, explore the discharge price mechanism, and promote electric vehicles to participate in the interaction of the power system.
Establish and improve the charging infrastructure standard system
Speed up the formulation and revision of advanced charging and swapping technology standards represented by fast charging technology, explore the establishment of standards related to vehicle-grid interaction, improve and perfect the standard system in aspects such as the planning, design, construction and operation of charging infrastructure, and enhance the international leading ability of standards.
