Windows 11 Microsoft Store Update Library, Search Bar, Pages, and More

TapTechNews August 8th news, according to the Microsoft official blog, the August 2024 update of the Windows 11 Microsoft Store (app store) has now been rolled out to Canary and Dev preview users, applicable to Windows 11 devices (TapTechNews note: version 22407.xxxx.x and higher).

Library interface improvement

In this update, Microsoft will make changes to the library page. Firstly, the filter is improved, and by default, it will show all the apps that the user owns, not just the installed ones.

In addition, Microsoft has added a new search bar to this page, which can help users find a certain app name or developer in the library, which is quite a lot more convenient than before.

Update and download page

Microsoft has set aside a separate page for the update and download list, which was previously just placed at the top of the library page.

The new page shows a list of active downloads or pending updates and shows a list of recently installed or updated. For pending updates or active downloads, version update instructions will also be displayed.
