The patent describes how the Apple Pencil interacts with VisionPro or other devices through the detachable pen holder. The pen holder will contain various sensors, such as haptic sensors, pressure sensors, and motion sensors. These sensors will enable the Apple Pencil to track its movement in 3D space and interact with the VisionPro's camera to provide new input and output functions. For example, users can use the Apple Pencil to draw or write in VisionPro, or manipulate 3D models.

In addition, the haptic sensor of the Apple Pencil can be used to provide haptic feedback. For example, when users touch an object in the virtual world, they may feel the texture or temperature of the object.

TapTechNews noticed that the patent also describes how to connect the pen holder to other items, such as pens or pencils, which will allow users to use everyday items as input devices to control VisionPro or other devices.

The patent indicates that Apple is committed to developing new ways to expand the function of the Apple Pencil, and by combining it with devices such as VisionPro, the Apple Pencil has the potential to become a more powerful and versatile input tool.
