Geely's Zeekr to Launch New Shooting Brake Model Next Year, Updates on Multiple Models

TapTechNews August 22nd news, on August 21st, An Conghui, the president of Geely Holding Group and the CEO of Zeekr Intelligent Technology, confirmed that Zeekr will launch a new shooting brake model based on the 007 architecture, and will be listed and released next year. Yang Xueliang, the senior vice president of Geely Holding Group, announced this news publicly.

TapTechNews noticed that Geely Automobile announced its 2024 semi-annual report yesterday (August 21st), achieving operating income of 107.3 billion yuan, an increase of 46.6% year-on-year; the profit attributable to non-controlling shareholders increased to 33.7 billion yuan year-on-year. An Conghui, the CEO of Zeekr, disclosed at the meeting that the iterative versions of the three models of Zeekr 001, 007, and 009 are not likely to have annual updates within one year, but excluding some changes in product colors and optional configurations.

An Conghui also disclosed that Zeekr 7X will make its world debut at the Chengdu Auto Show at the end of August and is expected to be listed and released at the end of September; Zeekr MIX will be officially listed and released in the fourth quarter. Both of these models will be equipped with Zeekr's self-developed Haohan Intelligent Driving 2.0.

As for Zeekr's first new flagship SUV model equipped with Nvidia's Thor chip, An Conghui expects that this car will be released in the third quarter of 2025.
