Xingji Meizu's Upcoming Car and Its Intelligent Cockpit Developments

TapTechNews July 26th news, during the 2024 ChinaJoy, Liao Qinghong, the COO (Chief Operating Officer) of Xingji Meizu, said in an interview with the media that the Xingji Meizu car will meet everyone within this year and will have a functional performance that is not quite the same as that of traditional automakers.

TapTechNews noted that the Meizu brand announced its official entry into the automotive market last November and will create an exclusive DreamCar for Meizu fans. The car will be based on the SEA architecture and Geely's Industry 4.0 manufacturing capabilities. In addition, all users who buy Meizu 21 can directly use the original price to offset the car purchase price, which is equivalent to buying a car and getting a phone for free.

In May this year, the Meizu Unbounded Smart Mobility official website briefly showed that the first model under the Meizu brand will be named Meizu MX. This model will use the FlymeAuto full-case intelligent vehicle infotainment system.

Peng Fan, the vice president of Xingji Meizu, said at the media communication meeting in June that its intelligent cockpit industry solution, the Unbounded Smart Mobility Open Platform 2.0 will be launched by the end of this year, which can help automakers quickly create a set of intelligent cockpit OS systems with their own brand style and make dynamic adjustments through the online editor and real-time preview functions.

Peng Fan also disclosed that the FlymeAuto intelligent cockpit solution jointly created by Xingji Meizu and ECARX is being promoted to more automotive brands, and some intention projects have been obtained currently.
