Samsung's SmartThings Platform Gets ISO/IEC270012022 Certification

TapTechNews July 26th news, Samsung company released a blog post today (July 26th), indicating that its SmartThings platform has obtained the international standard ISO/IEC27001:2022 certification of the Information Security Management System (ISMS), proving that the platform is reliable and secure.

TapTechNews note: ISO27001 is the world's leading standard for ISMS formulated by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO), which provides guidance for enterprises to manage information asset risks and achieve information protection goals.

The certification was issued by the world-renowned standardization and certification body, the British Standards Institute (BSI). To obtain the certification, the company must meet the standards in a total of 123 detailed items such as information security policies, access control to information assets, and incident response.
