TapTechNews May 12 news, Changan Qiyuan E07 opened blind ordering at the 2024 Beijing Auto Show last month, claiming to be the world's first mass-produced variable new car and will be delivered before the fourth quarter of 2024. Now, this new car has added declaration information to the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology.
According to the latest declaration information, this new car has recently added a 165kW single motor pure electric model, with the motor provided by Deep Blue Automotive Technology Co., Ltd. It is equipped with lithium iron phosphate battery from Times Changan. Based on this calculation, the entry price of this crossover new car is expected to be further reduced.
The previous declaration information showed that the Changan Qiyuan E07 has a body length, width, and height of 5045/1996/1640 (1665,1695) mm, a wheelbase of 3120 mm, and a 5-seat design, offering 20-inch and 21-inch wheels. Qiyuan E07 will offer two power versions, two-wheel drive and four-wheel drive. The two-wheel drive version is equipped with a 252kW drive motor, and the four-wheel drive version is equipped with 188/252kW front and rear motors, with a ternary lithium battery pack.
This model integrates the characteristics of SUV and pickup trucks, with a roofline showing a distinct sloping design and two sturdy luggage racks. The rear design adopts a large sloping design, which can switch from SUV to pickup truck when opened, and the tailgate can fold downward, making it easy to load and unload luggage/goods.
