Starting from this month, Samsung has announced that it will no longer release security updates for the Galaxy A51 5G, Galaxy A41, and Galaxy M01 phones. These three smartphones were all launched between March and June 2020, and their support cycle is 4 years.

TapTechNews Note: The Galaxy A51 5G received three major Android system upgrades (from Android 10 to Android 13), while the Galaxy A41 and Galaxy M01 received two Android system upgrades (from Android 10 to Android 12).

Although these phones no longer meet the conditions for security updates, if Samsung discovers some critical vulnerabilities in older Galaxy devices, it may push one or two updates. However, this situation is not common, so these phones are likely to retain the current software version forever.
