TapTechNews reported on May 7th this year that Microsoft has decided to close ArkaneAustin, which had developed 'Prey' and 'RedFall', and some members of the team will join other studios.

Subsequently, there was news that the team was developing the update that should have been released in May, and now the official has officially confirmed the update content, which will bring a brand new neighbor and nest system, in addition to SinglePlayerPausing and the offline mode.

'RedFall' is a 'blockbuster game' of Microsoft and Xbox, created by the well-known developer ArkaneStudios, which has previously produced excellent works such as 'Dishonored', 'Prey' and 'Deathloop'.

However, 'RedFall' had a poor debut and became the game with the lowest score in the company's history. The players' negative reviews mainly focused on the lack of gameplay in this work, the relatively high digital version pricing, the 'utilated' cutscenes, many bugs, and the requirement of forced online connection.

Although the official has launched many patches for the game to try to fix the performance problems of the game, but currently the game's reputation is still not satisfactory. SteamDB shows that this work only has a 33.10% favorable rate of 'ostly negative' on the Steam platform.
