Google Introduces 'Web' Filter Button to Search Engine

TapTechNews reader Coje_He provided a clue that, Google announced at the recent I/O 2024 developer conference that they will add a 'Web' filter button to the Google search engine, displaying only text links in the search results. When users select the 'Web' filter, the search results will no longer show forums, videos, news, images, or other forms of links, but only classic blue links, giving a feeling of going back to the pre-2007 universal search era. TapTechNews translates Google's introduction of this filter as follows: Some people want to see only web links in the search results, such as those looking for longer format text documents, using devices with limited internet access, or those who prefer to separate text-based results from search functions. If you are one of these people, enjoy!
