AYANEO Launches 8840U Motherboard Upgrade Plan for Existing Users

TapTechNews May 28th news, AYANEO has launched a 8840U motherboard upgrade plan for existing old users who already own the AYANEO2/GEEK 6800U version, and it has now launched a crowdfunding campaign on Indiegogo.

8840U/16GB: $499 (TapTechNews note: currently about 2880 RMB).

8840U/32GB: $549 (currently about 3470 RMB).

8840U/64GB: $699 (currently about 4400 RMB).

In addition to the AYANEO2/GEEK 6800U version, AYANEO2S/GEEK1S 7840U users can also choose the upgraded motherboard launched this time.

AYANEO2 and the AYANEO GEEK handheld were released in September 2022, equipped with the AMD Ryzen 7 6800U processor; last year, the AYANEO2S/GEEK1S version with the upgraded Ryzen 7 7840U processor was launched.

This crowdfunding will end on June 25th, and AYANEO expects to send out the new 8840U motherboard for the users participating in the crowdfunding from the end of July to the beginning of August.
