Audi Launches Special Limited-Edition RS4 Avant to Mark 25th Anniversary

Audi's 2.9-liter twin-turbocharged V6 engine equipped for this car has been optimized, increasing its power by 20 horsepower to 464 horsepower. Audi claims that its 0-60 miles per hour acceleration time is 3.7 seconds, 0.4 seconds faster than the regular version and also 0.2 seconds faster than the RS4 Avant Competition model.

In terms of top speed, the RS4 Avant 25th Anniversary Edition model can reach 186 miles per hour, 6 miles per hour faster than the Competition model. For braking, the standard ceramic brakes can meet the intense driving needs. In addition, Audi has also equipped this commemorative edition model with an RS sport exhaust system with matte black oval exhaust ports, bringing a more dynamic sound.

Compared with the regular RS4, due to the adoption of a stiffer suspension setting in this special edition model, the ground clearance is reduced by 0.4 inches (TapTechNews note: about 10.16 millimeters), and the owner can also manually lower the body by another 0.4 inches to obtain better handling. Audi said that they adjusted the software of the eight-speed tiptronic transmission to make the shifting speed faster. In addition, this limited edition model is equipped with stiffer control arms, and the camber of the front axle is increased by 2 degrees to obtain better grip.

In terms of tires, this performance station wagon that also takes into account family use is equipped with Pirelli P Zero Corsa tires and 20-inch forged wheels from the RS4 Avant Competition. At the same time, the car also comes with an additional set of 20-inch matte black wheels with Pirelli P Zero Trofeo RS semi-slick tires, allowing the owner to fully exert on the racetrack. To add some fun, Audi also gave a pair of racing gloves.

The RS4 Avant 25th Anniversary Edition model is only sold in Europe, limited to 250 units, and will start accepting reservations from June. In addition to the iconic Imola Yellow, Audi also offers Nardo Gray and Mythos Black as body colors, and the car costs 142,905 euros (currently about 1.125 million yuan).
