Baidu Netdisk Lands on Apple VisionPro, Bringing New VR Experience

TapTechNews July 8th news, Baidu Netdisk has landed on Apple VisionPro and launched a new VR version, claiming to 'open a new era of VR netdisk experience'.

According to the official introduction, the VR version of Baidu Netdisk can smoothly browse 4K and panoramic videos, freeing the video playback from the physical size limitations of TV screens and projection screens, and defining the screen size and layout according to the users' own wishes.

In terms of operation, Baidu Netdisk has carried out in-depth integration and adaptation to the hardware of the VisionPro product. Users can simply blink and move their hands towards the floating operation interface in front to complete functions such as selection, page turning, and switching in the netdisk interaction control.

Baidu Netdisk claims that the VR version adopts Baidu's PBR technology in the metaverse field (TapTechNews note: PhysicallyBasedRendering, physically based rendering), combined with AR ambient light changes, 'just like being in a real space'.
