TapTechNews August 3rd news, Porsche released a press release on July 31st, to pay tribute to the late racing driver Joseph Siffert, and launched a special edition 911 GT3 RS sports car.
Porsche invited Siffert's family to participate in the design when building this sports car, inspired by the 1969 race where Siffert and Kurt Ahrens drove the 917 to win at the Österreichring.
So this special edition 911 GT3 RS sports car adopts a pure white and viper green two-color design. In addition to the special coating, the car's hood, doors and fenders are also equipped with the 29 badge, in addition to the Porsche logo and special black satin magnesium alloy wheels, and the lock buckle in the center of the wheel has the outline of 917 KH.
Porsche didn't release too many interior pictures, but confirmed that the car adopts a black and Guards Red Race-Tex interior, and there is a helmet pattern on the headrest. In addition, this model is also equipped with a special door pedal, and Siffert's signature is also embossed on the center console cover.
