TapTechNews July 31st news, HMD showcased a flip phone named Barbie at MWC2024 early this year, and now announces that this model will be released overseas on August 28th.

Before that, HMD has already launched several HMD smartphones in India including HMD Crest and CrestMax, but 91mobiles believes this Barbie flip phone belongs to a feature phone.

As we can see from the officially released poster, this model has a bright pink border, with the brand logo printed on the front, and it looks a bit like the Nokia 2660Flip phone.

The Nokia 2660Flip phone is equipped with Unisoc T107 chip, 48MB of memory, 128MB of storage (expandable to 32GB), features a 2.8-inch QVGA main screen + 1.77-inch QQVGA secondary screen, is equipped with a 300,000-pixel camera (with LED flash) and a 1450mAh removable battery, and the price is 4299 rupees (TapTechNews note: currently about 372 Chinese yuan).

It is worth mentioning that the retailer multitronic has previously listed this model, and the model number of this machine is TA-1681, which supports dual SIM dual standby, and the price is 107.9 euros (currently about 846 Chinese yuan), and it is expected to be shipped after September 8th.
