Windows 10 21H2 support ends for some editions; Microsoft updates

TapTechNews June 13th - Microsoft's Windows 10 21H2 Enterprise Edition, Education Edition and IoT Enterprise Edition have ended support on June 11th, 2024. The June 2024 security update released on June 11th, 2024 is the last update provided for this version.

It is worth noting that the Win10 21H2 Home Edition, Professional Edition, Professional Education Edition and Professional Workstation Edition had already stopped support in June 2023, while users of the Enterprise LTSC 2021 and IoT Enterprise LTSC 2021 will continue to receive support and will last until January 12, 2027.

Microsoft now updates the support documentation, stating that it will automatically start the feature update for the above Windows users, so that they can upgrade to the 22H2 version. As of June 11th, 2024, the Enterprise Edition, Education Edition and IoT Enterprise Edition of Windows 10 version 21H2 have ended service. After this date, devices running this version will no longer receive monthly security and preview updates that include the latest security threat protection.
