It should be noted that computers using Intel and AMD processors cannot temporarily obtain the official update of Windows 11 24H2 for the time being. Although Microsoft said that users can join the Windows Insider Test Program channel to try this update, compared with Copilot+ devices, there may be some problems in the usage experience.

When Copilot+ devices check for updates, they will automatically receive the Windows 11 KB5039239 update. According to Microsoft, the first update for the Snapdragon processor fixes the problem that Bluetooth devices automatically adjust to the maximum volume after being connected. Another fixed bug is related to the BattlEye anti-cheat software, which previously could not run on the Snapdragon processor, resulting in some games not being able to run on ARM64 architecture computers.

In addition to the fixes in the game aspect, Microsoft has also separated the Copilot function from the taskbar, making it an application icon that can be added or removed separately. The artificial intelligence function is still deeply integrated into the system. For example, the built-in neural network processing unit (NPU) of Copilot+ devices can help users add or remove the image background in applications such as Paint and Photos.

Insiders revealed that Microsoft still plans to push the official update of Windows 11 24H2 to computers using Intel and AMD processors at the end of September or early October. Currently, this update can also be obtained in the Insider Test Program channel, but there are still some potential performance issues, such as screen stuttering and frame rate drops, and it is recommended that users update with caution.
