Geely Holding's May Sales Surge with Strong Growth in New Energy

TapTechNews, June 9th. Geely Holding Group today released an announcement that the total sales volume in May was 256,556 units, a year-on-year increase of 22.2%. The sales volume of new energy vehicles was 110,681 units, a year-on-year increase of 59%, and the new energy penetration rate was 43.1%.

From January to May, Geely Holding's cumulative sales volume was 1,230,162 units, a year-on-year increase of 27.9%; the cumulative new energy sales volume was 468,212 units, a year-on-year increase of 48.8%.

The sales volume of Geely Galaxy series in May was 14,193 units, with a month-on-month increase of about 12%, and the brand's first-year sales volume exceeded 120,000 units to reach 120,264 units.

The sales volume of Geely's China Star · High-end series in May was 30,722 units, and the cumulative sales volume exceeded 1 million units.

The sales of Lynk & Co. in May was 21,778 units, and the new energy sales accounted for about 57%, setting a new historical high.

The delivery volume of Zeekr in May was 18,616 units, a year-on-year increase of 115%.
