PassMark ARM's Road to Dominating Windows PC Market

TapTechNews July 16th, PassMark released a blog post yesterday (July 15th) reporting that it has received a cumulative 22,000 x86 Windows benchmark test submission records in the past 30 days, among which there are only 56 test reports on ARM Snapdragon XElite (accounting for 0.3%).

PassMark stated in the official tweet: Considering that the Qualcomm CEO claims that ARM can capture 50% of the Windows PC market in 5 years, there is still a long way to go.

Some netizens questioned that the benchmark test data is meaningless, and PassMark then said: Most mainstream laptop manufacturers including ASUS, Lenovo, Samsung, Dell, Acer, HP, and Microsoft Surface have already launched laptops equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon XElite processor, so not all of these 56 records come from one device.
