It is known that since the original vice president of marketing Yi Han left XPeng Motors in January this year, XPeng Motors has been looking for a suitable candidate. After this position has been vacant for nearly four months, XPeng Motors is expected to welcome a new marketing director.

The report also pointed out that an insider from OPPO revealed that Yu Tao is still in the employed state at present, but it has been determined that he will leave soon. In response, the relevant person in charge of XPeng Motors said 'feedback next week'.

Public information shows that Yu Tao used to be the marketing general manager of Qihoo 360. After leaving Qihoo 360 in 2018, he was also in charge of the marketing work of Honor, and then joined OPPO's sub-brand OnePlus in 2023. After the original XPeng marketing vice president Yi Han left, he joined smart Motors, which is jointly held by Mercedes-Benz and Geely Automobile Group.
