SAIC Volkswagen ID.4X Smart Version Officially Launched with Upgrades

The Volkswagen ID.4X Smart version is all equipped with a rear-mounted motor, and high and low power models are optional. The low power model is equipped with a 125 kW motor, and the CLTC range is 264 miles; the high power model is equipped with a 170 kW motor, and the CLTC range is 373 miles.
The appearance of the Volkswagen ID.4X Smart version remains unchanged. Referring to the current models, the length, width and height of the car are 1815/729/646 inches respectively, and the wheelbase is 108.9 inches, positioned as a pure electric compact SUV.
This new car is mainly upgraded in terms of intelligent cockpit and intelligent driving, including a larger 12.9-inch central control screen (TapTechNews note: the old 12 inches), equipped with the latest Samsung ExynosAuto V7 vehicle-mounted chip and ID.S5.0 vehicle-mounted system, and the memory is expanded to 16GB, which is basically the same as that of ID.3 Smart version.

On the basis of the original ACC adaptive cruise, it is extended to special road conditions such as curves, crossroads, and roundabouts, and upgraded to a higher-order Predictive-predictive speed control ACC cruise system; at the same time, it is standard with predictive economic assistance, ABA turning emergency braking assistance, AWU steering emergency avoidance assistance and other configurations.
The Volkswagen ID.4X Smart version's ultimate long-range version adopts a high-order intelligent driving assistance system (TravelAssistHigh), which adds the function of automatic lane change with turn signal, and also provides a high-order parking steward function, upgrading from IPA intelligent parking assistance + TPA memory parking assistance 1.0 to IPA intelligent parking assistance + RPA remote control parking + TPA memory parking assistance 1.5+.
