Huawei Launches AI 100-Schools Program to Support College Research and Teaching

The main scenarios funded by this plan include: scientific research innovation and basic AI technology research of college teams with in-depth research and influence in the AI field, projects that cooperate with Huawei to solve industrial technical problems through technical cooperation, and talent cultivation carried out by colleges in the AI field.

Based on the scenarios involved in the application project, such as AI operators, algorithms, model inference, large model training, etc., applications can be submitted online. Huawei will review from the dimensions of project goals, project value, innovativeness, advancement, and influence on the industry and ecosystem.

TapTechNews noted that for the finally approved projects, there is an opportunity to obtain Ascend Cloud AI computing power resources support ranging from $7,500 to $150,000 annually.
