GALAX Unveils First Magnetic Detachable SSD PSD01 with High Transfer Rate

TapTechNews September 29th news, GALAX Technology announced today the launch of its first magnetic detachable solid-state drive PSD01, with a transfer rate reaching 20 Gbps, and a magnetic function on the back, and the official said it will be released later.

The initially launched product is the 1TB version, and later 500GB and 2TB versions will be launched, providing a USB-C 3.2 Gen2x2 interface, with read and write rates reaching 2000 and 1950 MB/s respectively. It comes with two data cables, namely C to C (20 Gbps) and A to C (10 Gbps).

By connecting this product to the phone through the C to C data cable, on the iPhone 15/16 series phones, by enabling the Apple ProRes option in Settings - Camera, the videos recorded in the camera can be stored in PSD01, which can be used as an external storage.
