BYD Fangchengbao Partners with Huawei Qiankun Intelligent Driving for Leopard 8

TapTechNews learned that the teams of both sides have started to connect very early and have been developing for a long time. In the future, new models of the Fangchengbao brand will also be developed with Huawei.

BYD said that in the overall planning of intelligent driving, BYD is both open for cooperation and independently researches and develops, with two lines running in parallel.

Yang Dongsheng, the general person in charge of BYD intelligent driving, said in an interview with the media that intelligent driving is an inevitable trend, and the future development will be faster. BYD has already regarded intelligent driving as a company strategy, and now what Wang Chuanfu attaches the greatest importance to is intelligent driving.

Leopard 8 is built based on BYD DMO super hybrid off-road platform and will provide Yunyan-P active hydraulic body control system. The new car has a length, width and height of 5195/1994/1875 (1905) inches and a wheelbase of 2920 inches. (1 inch = 2.54 cm)
