Alibaba Global Math Competition First Secondary Vocational Student Enters Final

TapTechNews note: Jiang Ping is currently studying in the Fashion Design major at Jiangsu Province Lian Shui Secondary Vocational School,and scored 93 points in this competition, ranking 12th in the world.

Jiang Ping's mathematics performance has been particularly outstanding since junior high school, showing a cliff-like lead compared to other subjects, but partial subject blocked her way to regular senior high schools. After entering the vocational school, her obsession with mathematics seemed a bit out of place.

According to the introduction, the mathematics teacher recommended to her Advanced Mathematics published by Tongji University, Mathematical Analysis by Xie Huimin, and Partial Differential Equations written by Lawrence C. Evans. With the help of the mobile phone translation software and the English-Chinese Pocket Dictionary, Jiang Ping has already self-studied one-third of the all-English Partial Differential Equations.

Jiang Ping also learned from the math teacher that the Alibaba Global Mathematics Competition has no threshold and people from all over the world regardless of profession can participate. At first, her first reaction was still whether she was worthy or not, but finally she still chose to participate. In this competition, there are 801 people shortlisted for the final, most of them are from famous schools such as Peking University, Tsinghua University, Cambridge University, Columbia University, Princeton University, etc..
