Tesla's Potential Phone and Its Stand Against Apple's Move

TapTechNews June 13 news. In the early hours of this morning Beijing time, electric vehicle analyst Sawyer Merritt posted a report released by Morgan Stanley analyst Adam Jonas. This analyst believes that Tesla could build a 'compelling' phone that can run powerful AI applications with the ability of battery, storage and other equipment, which is equivalent to a 'heavy key'.

Tesla then expressed its own view under this tweet: 'We can (make phones), but hopefully it's not necessary. Tesla is one of the few companies that has its own technology stack (not iOS, Android or a branch of Android).'

According to previous reports of TapTechNews, Musk had threatened that if the tech giant Apple insists on announcing at WWDC24 the plan to integrate OpenAI technology into its software, he will ban his companies from using Apple devices.

Musk called Apple's cooperation with OpenAI an 'unacceptable security violation' and said that if this plan is implemented, 'visitors entering my company will need to deposit their Apple devices at the door, and these devices will be stored in a Faraday cage', which is a container that can shield some electromagnetic radiation. As we all know, Musk's relationship with OpenAI is not good. They have quarreled and gone to court many times on the Internet.
