Wuling Xingguang S Model Revealed with Appearance and Power System

TapTechNews June 13, it was reported that Wuling Xingguang S model appeared in the new product publicity of the 384th batch of Road Motor Vehicle Manufacturing Enterprises and Product Announcements of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, and the appearance and power system were announced.

TapTechNews noticed that Wuling Xingguang S adopts the family-style front face design of Xingguang models, and is equipped with split headlight groups and a closed front grille. The body side does not adopt the currently popular hidden door handle design, and the rear end also adopts a split lamp group design.

The declared information shows that the length, width and height of Wuling Xingguang S are 4745*1890*1680mm (about 186.8*74.4*66.1 inches), and the wheelbase is 2800mm (about 110.2 inches), and the maximum speed is 170 km/h (about 105.6 mph). This car can be optionally equipped with front radar, sunroof, luggage rack, front windshield camera, exterior rearview mirror (with 360 panoramic camera) and other configurations.

In terms of power, the plug-in hybrid version of Wuling Xingguang S is equipped with a 1.5-liter naturally aspirated engine with a maximum power of 78 kilowatts, and the motor has not been announced yet. The pure electric version of Wuling Xingguang S is equipped with a lithium iron phosphate battery, and the single motor has a maximum power of 150 kilowatts.

For reference, at the 2024 Beijing Auto Show which opened on April 25, the Wuling Xingguang co-created version sedan was launched. The pure electric version provides two configuration options: 410 standard type and 510 advanced type, and the prices are 99,800 yuan and 109,800 yuan respectively; the plug-in hybrid provides 4 configuration versions: 70 standard type, 150 standard type, 150 advanced type, and 150 pilot type, and the prices are 79,800 yuan, 89,800 yuan, 99,800 yuan, and 102,800 yuan respectively.
