Smart Automobile Sales (Nanning) Co., Ltd. decided to recall some Smart #1 pure electric vehicles produced from April 20, 2024 to May 30, 2024, a total of 2,545 units; and some Smart #3 pure electric vehicles produced from April 20, 2024 to May 31, 2024, a total of 971 units.

In this recall scope, some vehicles due to manufacturing problems may lead to insufficient strength of the guide nut of the front seat belt height adjuster. In extreme cases, the front seat belt height adjuster has a fixed failure, affecting the restraint effect of the seat belt and there is a potential safety hazard.

Smart Automobile Sales (Nanning) Co., Ltd. will, through authorized dealers, replace the front seat belt height adjuster assembly for free for vehicles within the recall range to eliminate potential safety hazards.
