Lotus Unveils New Concept Car Theory1 with Impressive Speed and Design

The exterior of the car adopts a simple black design, which is a low-slung sports car design with streamlined curves, linear headlights and taillights, and no exposed door handles. The roof uses a large-area panoramic sunroof, showing a strong sense of technology overall.

The interior of the car is also simple, also with a black base color and a small amount of Lotus's signature yellow lines. It uses a steering wheel similar to that of a racing car, and there seems to be a screen in the middle. The official claims to adopt the LOTUSWEAR 'Digital Life Form' concept.

TapTechNews learned from public information that in 2021, the Lotus brand released its product plan for the next five years and announced that it will 'completely bid farewell' to the fuel era within five years and launch four models covering various types such as SUVs, four-door coupes, and pure electric small sports cars. Among them, the pure electric SUV Eletre with the code Type132 has been launched in 2022, and the four-door coupe Emeya (Blossom) with the code Type133 has been launched in 2023.

After that, the model with the code Type134 is expected to be a crossover coupe, and Type135 is a pure electric small sports car.
