MSI Updates MSIClaw BIOS for Big Performance Boost

TapTechNews May 23rd news, MSI has been constantly working to optimize the gaming experience of its MSIClaw handheld console and now released the latest BIOS update of version 109, less than a month after the last update.

It is introduced that this update can achieve a maximum of 30% performance improvement and can outperform the ROGAlly with AMD Ryzen Z1 processor in the current 100 most popular games on Steam.

According to the test performance data sheet provided by MSI official, this update can obtain performance improvement in most popular games, such as Hogwarts Legacy, Forza Horizon 5, Street Fighter 6, Shadow of the Tomb Raider, NBA 2K24, FC24, Kemono Friends Paru, Ark: Survival Evolved, Sons of the Forest, PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds, 7 Days to Die, Dead Island 2, Manor Lords, Helldivers 2, Fortnite, Stray, and Naraka: Bladepoint.

In terms of performance improvement, Forza Horizon 5 has a performance improvement of as high as 30% after updating the BIOS, while others such as Fortnite, Sons of the Forest, and Helldivers 2 also obtain a performance improvement of about 20-28%, and the performance improvement range of Hogwarts Legacy, FC24, NBA 2K24, Manor Lords and other games is between 11% and 15%, while the performance improvement range of the remaining games is between 5% and 9.6%.

According to another PPT of MSI, MSIClaw can defeat ROGAlly in 90% of the current 100 most popular games on Steam. Overall, in the performance comparison based on Steam, the average performance of MSIClaw is about 26% stronger than that of ASUS ROGAlly.
