TapTechNews May 23rd, developer Mishaal Rahman posted a blog yesterday, stating that Adobe will fully utilize the Gemini Nano model and plans to implement AI functions such as summarizing document contents in the new Android version of Acrobat.
Google has launched a brand-new tool named AICore, which allows application developers to call the local model of Gemini Nano. Google has basically solved all the technical problems, so developers can focus on building new features for their applications.
TapTechNews learned from the report that in the Google I/O keynote speech, Adobe said it has started to use this tool to transform the Acrobat application to achieve rapid summarization of PDF file contents and answer users' questions about a certain issue within the document.
Although some heavy work may still be done in the cloud, many of these new functions will be provided directly on your phone by Gemini Nano. This means that users will get a faster response and will not consume data traffic.
