This color e-paper display is suitable for various scenarios such as shopping malls, offices, public places, restaurants, and retail stores, and can be used to display advertisements, menus, product information, and other contents.

The 32-inch color e-paper display with the model EMDX has extremely low power consumption. The screen can display advertisements or other contents stored inside the device, with a QHD resolution and capable of showing 60,000 colors. Its thickness is only 17.9 millimeters, and the weight is only 2.9 kilograms (excluding the battery).

Samsung Electronics stated that this e-paper display consumes almost no power when displaying contents, and only uses a small amount of power when the content is updated. According to the definition of the IEC62301 standard of the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC), a product with a power consumption lower than 0.005W can be labeled as 0-watt power consumption.

As TapTechNews understands, this color e-paper display has 8GB of storage space, Bluetooth, and Wi-Fi functions, and is equipped with two USB Type-C interfaces (for power supply and file transfer). It has a FrameDeco frame design similar to Samsung's The Frame TV and can be easily replaced. It is also compatible with the 200x200 VESA wall mount and can be installed in various positions such as the ceiling, desktop, or wall.

Samsung plans to launch an exclusive smartphone application for this color e-paper display. Users can manage the content stored and displayed on the screen through this application. In addition, it can also be managed remotely and in real-time through Samsung's VTX solution.
