Microsoft Office Applications Have Bugs, Users May Encounter Crashes

TapTechNews August 16th news, Microsoft officially updated the support document yesterday (August 15th), admitting that Office applications including Outlook, Word, and OneNote have BUGs, users may encounter crash situations when inputting, checking spelling, or performing other writing tasks and operations.

Microsoft said that Office Version 2407, Build 17830.20138 and subsequent versions all have the above problems, which will be recorded as Event 1000 or Event 1001 in the event log viewer.

TapTechNews quoted the support document, and Microsoft said that the reason for the above problem may lie in the outdated language pack:

If the language pack version is not updated to the current version, this problem may occur.

Users can check the version of C:\ProgramFiles\MicrosoftOffice\root\Office16\mscss7xx.dll. In theory, the version number should be closely matched with the Office version, but there may be a situation of incomplete matching.
