Changan Automobile's UNI-Z 1.5T Fuel Version to Be Launched on August 10

TapTechNews August 4th news, according to Dongchedi, the 1.5T fuel version of Changan Automobile's UNI-Z SUV model will be launched for sale on August 10. This version is equipped with a 1.5T engine and a 7-speed wet dual-clutch transmission. By comparison, the current plug-in hybrid UNI-Z model has an official guide price range of 117,900 - 131,900 yuan ($17,000 - 19,000).

According to the introduction, the fuel version of UNI-Z has little difference in appearance from the current hybrid model. The obvious difference compared to the plug-in hybrid version is that it adopts a bilateral four-outlet exhaust decoration. The front of the car continues the inverted trapezoidal grille and L-shaped dot matrix decoration, as well as the iconic Changan V logo. The side waistline of the car runs through the body to the rear, and the rear part adopts a through-type LED taillight group and polygonal chrome-plated exhaust decoration.

The interior of UNI-Z adopts a rectangular full LCD instrument panel, a 14.6-inch central touch display screen, with a two-spoke multi-function steering wheel, and is also equipped with an electronic shift mechanism in the style of a yacht shift lever.

In terms of specifications, TapTechNews learned that the length, width and height of UNI-Z are 4730mm x 1890mm x 1680mm (186.2in x 74.4in x 66.1in) respectively, and the wheelbase is 2795mm (109.6in). It is equipped with the Blue Whale NE1.5T engine, with a maximum power of 138 kilowatts and a maximum torque of 300 Newton-meters, and the transmission system is matched with a 7-speed wet dual-clutch transmission.
