Apple Plans to Launch New Mac Devices with M4 Series Chips

TapTechNews May 14 news, Bloomberg's Mark Gurman stated in the latest issue of the PowerOn newsletter that Apple will launch MacBook Pro and MacMini with M4 series chips later this year.

Specifically, Gurman estimates that the 14-inch MacBook Pro will use the M4 chip, and the 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro models will use the M4 Pro and M4 Max chips, while the Macmini model will use the M4 and M4 Pro chips.

Gurman estimates that Apple will update the M4 chip for MacBook Air, MacStudio, and MacPro in 2025, but did not mention iMac.

In the latest PowerOn newsletter released by Gurman, he once again shared the roadmap for new Mac devices with M4 series chips. The schedule attached by TapTechNews is as follows:

Apple will launch a low-end 14-inch MacBook Pro with M4 by the end of 2024;

Apple will launch a 24-inch iMac with M4 by the end of 2024;

Apple will launch new high-end 14-inch and 16-inch MacBookPro with M4Pro/Max chips by the end of 2024/early 2025;

Apple will launch Macmini with M4 and M4Pro configurations by the end of 2024/early 2025;

Apple is expected to release new 13-inch and 15-inch MacBookAir around spring 2025;

Apple will release MacStudio with high-end M4 chip in mid-2025;

Apple will release MacPro with M4Ultra chip in the second half of 2025.

Foreign media MacRumors stated in a blog post that based on Apple's previous release habits, October is a common month for launching new Mac products every year, so Apple may release new Mac products with M4 series chips in October this year.
