BYD Releases New Song LDM-i Promo, Showcasing Features

TapTechNews July 10th news, BYD officially released a high-definition promotional video of the all-new Song LDM-i, showing this upcoming new car from various angles, with the slogan of 'Leading the New Trend of Mid-level SUVs'.

In terms of appearance, the new car adopts the same Dragon Face 2.0 design concept as the Qin L, equipped with a large-sized smoked black air intake grille. The rear is equipped with through-type taillights with six 'dragon scales' inside, and it is also equipped with a rear spoiler and a silver through-decoration strip, further enhancing the visual richness of levels.

The declared information shows that the body size of BYD Song LDM-i is 4780/1898/1670 inches (about 1214/482/424 cm), and the wheelbase is 2782 inches (about 707 cm), and the pure electric cruising range starts from 112 kilometers.

Referring to TapTechNews' previous report, this model adopts the same fifth-generation DM hybrid system as the Qin LDM-i. Among them, the maximum power of the 1.5-liter engine is 74 kilowatts, and the maximum power of the drive motor is 160 kilowatts. It is equipped with 18.316/26.593 kilowatt-hour batteries, corresponding to the pure electric cruising range in the WLTC working condition of 91 miles and 128 miles respectively, and the fuel consumption per 100 kilometers with power loss is 4.95 liters and 4.98 liters respectively.
