FAW Pentium Launches New Entry-Level Model of Pentium Pony - Cute Pony
TapTechNews August 1st news, FAW Pentium launched a new entry-level model of the Pentium Pony - the Cute Pony, with a price of $3,600. The Pentium Pony is a mini car, and the entire series' guided price ranges from $3,600 to $4,600.
TapTechNews noted that the Pentium Pony adopts a 3-door 4-seat hatchback design and was launched in May this year. The Cute Pony version launched this time has a $300 price reduction compared to the previous Cute Fun Pony, but the configuration has reduced the Bluetooth and in-car phone functions. The whole vehicle series is standard with halogen headlights, 12-inch rims and rear parking radar.
The body size of the Pentium Pony is 3000/1510/1630 mm (about 118.1/59.4/64.2 inches), and the wheelbase is 1953 mm (about 76.9 inches), which exceeds that of the Wuling Hongguang MINIEV basic version (2920/1493/1621 mm, wheelbase 1940 mm).
In terms of interior, the Pentium Pony offers five two-color combinations such as Beach Gold, Peach Pink, Bubble Blue, Sky Blue and Camellia Green. Configurations include a flat-bottom steering wheel, LCD instrument, knob-type shift, two-color seats and through-type air conditioning outlets.
The whole vehicle series is standard with the main driver's airbag, fabric seats, front manual adjustable seats, the main driver's vanity mirror, rear parking radar, remote unlocking, manual air conditioning and uphill assist, etc.
In terms of power, the Pentium Pony is fully equipped with a rear-mounted single motor with a maximum power of 20 kilowatts and a maximum torque of 85 Newton-meters. In terms of battery, the Cute Pony and Cute Fun Pony are equipped with a 9.4 kWh battery pack, and the pure electric cruising range is 122 kilometers; the Vitality Pony and Dynamic Pony are equipped with a 13.9 kWh battery pack, and the pure electric cruising range is 170 kilometers. The high-end configuration (Dynamic Pony) adds a dashboard camera interface, reversing image, 7-inch LCD instrument and 2 speakers on the basis of the second-top configuration.
