Google Pixel Watch 3 Series Gets FCC Certification with UWB, Wi-Fi 6, and More
TapTechNews July 8th news, Google Pixel Watch 3 series smartwatches got FCC certification yesterday, confirming support for UWB Ultra Wide Band technology and 5GHz Wi-Fi 6.
There are a total of four models certified this time, namely the Bluetooth version and cellular version of Pixel Watch 3 and Pixel Watch 3XL watches:
GRY0E cellular version
GG3HH Bluetooth version
GBDU9 cellular version
GGE4J Bluetooth version
The above RF radio frequency test report shows that compared to the previous 2.4GHz single-band Wi-Fi, Google Pixel Watch 3 series smartwatches have upgraded to support 802.11ax Wi-Fi 6 in the 5GHz band, and all come standard with UWB Ultra Wide Band technology and NFC function.
TapTechNews previously reported that the relevant code for UWB precise positioning has already appeared in Google's Android FindMyDevice application.
