TapTechNews learned from the report that since October 1st, the traffic volume on many expressways such as Beijing-Shanghai and Shanghai-Shaanxi in Jiangsu Province has increased sharply, with more than 150,000 vehicles per day, among which the proportion of new energy vehicles is close to 10%. Reporters saw at a service area that the 12 charging piles here were all in a busy state, providing charging services for car owners.

In the Hanting Service Area of the S32 Tongnanxuan Expressway, reporters noticed that every ten or so minutes, a new energy vehicle would come to charge, and the 16 charging piles here provided services for car owners around the clock.

Data from the State Grid Smart Vehicle Networking Platform shows that in the first two days of this National Day holiday, the charging volume on expressways reached 15.58 million kWh, an increase of 56% compared to the same period last year, setting a new historical high.
