Google Starts Rolling Out New Android Features in the US

According to the function introduction, the theft detection lock will use a machine learning model to detect when someone snatches the phone from the user's hand and runs, rides a bike or drives. If this behavior is detected, the phone will be automatically locked to prevent the thief from accessing applications and data.

In addition, the offline device lock function means that if a thief tries to keep the phone disconnected from the network for a long time, the offline device lock will automatically lock the phone screen.

Rahman said that all these three functions started the test phase in Brazil in August, and Google disclosed to him that the final version will be launched more widely this year.
