Amazon Games Establishes Studio in Bucharest

TapTechNews May 21st, Amazon Games today announced the establishment of a game studio in Bucharest, the capital of Romania, led by former Ubisoft producer Cristian Pana.

It is introduced that Cristian Pana has more than 20 years of game development experience, and his most recent position was the general manager of Ubisoft Bucharest. He has participated in the development of games such as 'The Division', 'The Crew', 'Far Cry' and 'Avatar', covering game types such as racing, open-world action adventure and role-playing.

The new studio will support Amazon Games' vision of developing and publishing games around the community. Amazon's game lineup includes two already launched live-service games, 'New World' and 'Lost Ark', and announced projects include 'Tomb Raider', 'The Lord of the Rings' and 'Throne and Liberty', as well as unannounced projects from the San Diego studio, the Montreal studio and the UK indie studio Glowmade.
