TapTechNews June 5th news, according to videos from foreign media HardwareLUXX and GamersNexus, Noctua the owl demonstrated the early prototype of the thermosyphon radiator in cooperation with Calyos at Computex Taipei 2024.

The radiator has a two-phase thermosyphon structure and can be regarded as a kind of pump-less water cooling similar to the heat pipe in principle:

The coolant vaporizes in the heat conduction cavity above the CPU and is re-liquefied and flows back to the heat conduction cavity after being cooled by the fan group. The reflux part depends on gravity, so the installation direction has a significant impact on the cooling effect.

TapTechNews noticed that unlike the ProSiphon series thermosyphon radiator launched by IceGiant before, the radiator demonstrated by Noctua looks more like water cooling in appearance:

The heat conduction cavity at the bottom and the fan module part adopt a separable structure, and this design can reduce the installation pressure on the motherboard.

Noctua stated that the prototype of this thermosyphon radiator currently has two fan group sizes of 240 and 360 for selection, and the development goal is to achieve the cooling performance comparable to that of an all-in-one water-cooling radiator, while there is no risk of liquid leakage and pump noise.

Noctua emphasized that this radiator is a long-term project and is still in the early stage of development, and cannot provide specific listing time and pricing information of the thermosyphon radiator.
