Huawei's HarmonyOS NEXT System Public Beta Starts, Application Cloning and Updates

At the Huawei Autumn All-scenario New Product Launch held on September 24th, the Huawei HarmonyOS NEXT system officially announced the start of public beta on October 8th, and the first batch is adapted to Mate60/X5 series mobile phones and MatePadPro 13.2-inch series tablets.

TapTechNews noticed that the Huawei HarmonyOS NEXT system supports the application cloning function. After actual measurement, the system can open 6 of the same applications at most, and each application can be used independently.

According to the official function description, the application cloning function of the HarmonyOS NEXT system can clone up to 5 for a single App. Excessive cloned applications can also be clicked to delete or uninstall on the desktop.

TapTechNews previously reported that Huawei MatePadPro 13.2/11 2024 models of tablets, Mate60/Pura70 series and Pocket2 and other mobile phones have all received the push of the HarmonyOS NEXT 0.0.70 Beta version upgrade, mainly bringing updates of functions such as Super Terminal, Changlian, Gallery AI erasure, etc.

In addition, the related characteristics of some products in conjunction with the smart screen are being adapted and developed: functions such as Super Desktop, Remote Assistance, Remote Home Viewing and Smart Picture Frame Picture Upload are being adapted in the HarmonyOS NEXT system and will be gradually upgraded and supported in the future.
