TapTechNews noticed that in March this year, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the Ministry of Science and Technology, the Ministry of Finance, and the Civil Aviation Administration of China jointly issued the Implementation Plan for Innovative Application of General Aviation Equipment (2024-2030).

Among them, it is proposed that by 2027, the supply capacity and industrial innovation ability of general aviation equipment in China will be significantly enhanced, the basic support system of modern general aviation will be basically established, an efficient integrated industrial ecosystem will be initially formed, and the public service equipment system of general aviation will be basically perfected. New general aviation equipment with technological characteristics such as unmanned, electrification, and intelligence will achieve commercial application in urban air transport, logistics and distribution, emergency rescue and other fields.

By 2030, a new model of general aviation industry development characterized by high-end, intelligent, and green will be basically established, supporting and guaranteeing the short-haul transport + electric vertical takeoff and landing passenger transport network, the trunk-branch-terminal drone distribution network, and the safe and efficient operation of the low-altitude production and operation network meeting the needs of agricultural and industrial operations. General aviation equipment will be fully integrated into all areas of people's production and life, becoming a powerful driving force for the growth of the low-altitude economy and forming a trillion-dollar market scale.
